information in the Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim and Roscommon

going, as the rewards are worth working for.
Using the Resources within the Network
Facilitating a WIN Network Event
– we are looking for members who wish to practice their
public speaking and facilitation skills, by facilitating a
meeting. You would be required to
Introduce yourself and the speaker and say a few words of
thanks, whilst ensuring that newcomers are made welcome. WIN
are putting together a data base of facilitators and will
offer training to provide hints and tips on facilitation
techniques and the art of good networking.
WIN Speaker or Trainer - WIN are keen to use the
vast range of skills of our experienced members to assist us
in delivering networking events and workshops throughout the
year. The events will depend primarily of the expectations
and needs of our members. A database of potential speakers
and trainers will be developed so that we can refer to the
skills available when the opportunity arises. If you have an
idea for an interesting and thought provoking event, please
get in touch with us, specifying what type of event your
would like to hold and details of you experience to date.
Host Network Meeting at your place of business –
we are keen to move our network meetings around the areas
within the counties and would like to create an opportunity
for network members to showcase their business. This is an
ideal opportunity for members to let other members know what
you do and so ensures increased profile and opportunities.

Training
As part of our funding from Skillnet, we have an
extensive training plan to implement. These programmes are
designed or adapted to address the current requirements of
women in the region. To run these programmes we require ten
participants, these can be either the WIN members themselves
or their partners or employees. The programmes focus on
business development, work life balance and personal
development. They are delivered in a lively and supportive
environment, where participants learn best by interacting
with others through open discussions and sharing of similar
experiences. A schedule of programmes is available on
request.
